"I Love to See the Temple"

We attended a very special Primary activity, for church, yesterday at the church building across the parking lot from the Detroit Temple. The focus was on the temple, obviously. The kids got to make little temples out of marshmallows and frosting, do trivia games on temples, and watch parts of a video about the building of the Salt Lake Temple. After a picnic lunch outside, we walked around the temple grounds and a member of the temple presidency talked to us about temples in general and the Detroit Temple specifically. Victoria and Karissa really enjoyed being there on the beautiful grounds and doing the special activities, especially after talking about temples in Primary at church the past two months. Austin was on the grumpy side and not the best sport, but he survived.

Here's Jason helping Victoria with her marshmallow temple. What a sweet look on her face!

Here's my sweet, growing-up Karissa with her temple (and new haircut).
Victoria was the photographer here.

Thanks to my friend Anna for some of her fabulous pictures!

  3. I love Victoria's expression in the pic with Jason! And Karissa is so ridiculously beautiful you might have to start thinking about her future as a super-model!
