(This was a couple of weeks ago, but I finally got some pictures to post with it.)
Jason got to accompany Austin and Erik to Ohiopyle, PA, about 5 hours from our home, for a high adventure YM camp. They left at 6 am Monday morning in order to make it to their destination for white water rafting. Austin went with the older boys on an earlier adventure that included bigger and more challenging rapids. Erik and Jason went a little later on a slightly less challenging rapid adventure with the younger group. Since they couldn't take their phones in the rafts, for obvious reasons, there were no photos of the younger group, but the Bishop did pay for the photos through the company for the older group since they had some pretty cool rapid pictures. Austin is proud to say that he was one of the only ones not to have fallen out of the raft, due to his very experienced guide. Erik was dissapointed that his rapids weren't big enough to knock him out of his raft.

This one is not Austin's raft and these legs are, in fact, our bishop's!

I'm not exactly sure what happeend after the rafting. Probably campsite shenanigans and Jason was in charge of dinner the first night. He made walking tacos. It was that night that they decided they would have to cut the trip short and return Tusday night instead of Wednesday night. There were projected storms to go through where they were, including tornadoes. So they decided to play it safe.
Tuesday morning, they packed up camp, then went on their caving adventure. They wore headlamps on helmets and crawled through some extremely tight spaces. Sounds like they had a great time. They made the 5 hour drive back and finished off at the church to eat the dinner they were to eat that night and play soccer in the gym. The activity on Wednesday was supposed to be a biking adventure, so at least they didn't miss anything they can't do in our area.

Erik got some shots of the view from their site, for me.

And he got shots of the cave, plus a video that's too long to post, but definitely gave me an idea of what it was like!

Meanwhile, while they were gone, Kade and Victoria were busy with their usual schedules of work, class, and missionary work while I organized a bunch in the house and made some Relief Society visits. Kade and I stayed up late on Monday to watch a movie together and we all went to lunch on Tuesday to get our favorite Ruckus Tacos!
