Senior Prom!

Kade got to attend the largest prom in the US, according to the man in charge. He reached out to the largest HS in the US in NY. Ours is considered one of the largest, but we do have the 3 high schools on one campus, however, we have one prom for all 3 schools. This year, 1600 students attended, more than the one in NY, so we made history.

Kade made me very happy by wanting to host his friends at our house for dinner. He requested that Jason make his famous yogurt-marinated chicken, I make roasted potatoes, and Shirley Temples. I thought a nice salad would go well, and he agreed. I made the croutons from some old bread that I wanted to get rid of, and they turned out so well!

I even got out my cloth napkins!

They enjoyed an early dinner before some of them got ready so they could keep their clothes clean. After finishing up, we all went to take pictures at a cute gazebo in Downtown Plymouth. After that, they were off to the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi. They had to be there by 7:00, otherwise the doors would be locked and no one could enter. So, if anyone left, they couldn't reenter. I was glad they had some safety measures in place.

Kade gave AJ the corsage at home.

They matched very well!

After prom, they were supposed to go to a party, because why end all the fun at 10:30? It turned out that the party was cancelled because the hosts didn't feel like hosting anymore, so Kade and crew went to a friend's house nearby. He returned home by midnight- not bad! That was also the last day of school. And that's it! One more week til graduation.
